Provide consultation of legal requirements and its relevant activities on food safety, health and environment;
Organize daily, weekly and monthly key health, safety and food inspections;
To guide and give recommendations to the employer to comply with the law and hotel standards on food safety, health and environment;
Manage, lead, schedule and motivate the stewarding department;
Implement breakage standards, controls and reports;
Complete appropriate safety training to staff;
Follow policies and procedures for the food safety and storage, also with tools, equipment and machines;
Ensure the highest cleanliness standards at all times;
Responsible for the proper and adequate supply of china, glassware, silver and other services ware to preparation and service areas. Responsible to maintain approved and established par stock and inventory levels;
Responsible for complete and throughout sanitation of all kitchen's preparation, food receiving and storage areas, in direct collaboration with his immediate subordinates and the entire kitchen crew;
Responsible for enforcing procedures related to handling stewarding equipment, washing and sanitizing chemicals, oil disposal, hazardous chemicals.
Your profile
Minimum 3 years´ experience in Food and Safety in similar business;
A strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, hygiene;
A strong communicator that maintains positive communication in and outside of work in professional environments;
Someone who is exceptionally organised, with the ability to prioritise in order to meet allocated timelines and budgets;
Experience in conducting safety training programs for staff to ensure a high level of competence and adherence to standards.
